The Day of the Purple Sun is a new epic feature in two parts by avant-garde director and Marian Dora-collaborator Carsten Frank. In two psychedelic psychosexual parts, it tells the story of one woman's journey through the Egyptian underworld. Co-written by and starring Margarethe von Stern (Marian Dora's The Angel's Melancholia).
