Sunday, September 11

The Toetag team of director Fred Vogel (US) will host a masterclass on creating gore effects. French director Simon Pernolitz will finish his film ‘Maquinas Infernales’ (2010) live on stage with the help of the audience. And at night the French eretic artist Costes will be back on the BUT floor!

What is a BUT film anyway??

'B-films' are low budget films that are not covered by a large production studio. ’Underground films’ are films that stretch the limits of what’s acceptable. They often contain explicit images. Trash films are over-the-top in both content and imagery.

Legendary director Nick Zedd (US) at BUTFF 2011!

Zedd, along with fellow directors such as Richard Kern and Lydia Lunch, made shocking films filled with sex, violence and black humor.
